The bouqs review based on my experience.
Every year on Mother’s Day I send flowers to my mom and mother-in-law. Throughout the year, I also send flowers for special occasions to friends and family. I love to receive flowers and believe sending a bouquet of fresh flowers to someone can truly brighten their day (and hopefully a few after if the flowers are decent).
Over the years, I have tried everything possible to save money on floral arrangements, including Groupons, signing up for newsletters, and even calling a local florist in hopes they will create something more beautiful than FTD for the same price. What I have noticed is that promo codes and coupons typically come with a higher service charge or limited flower options. In a last ditch effort to support local florists over online retailers, I recently sent my friend a housewarming arrangement from a local florist. I called to order, described the occasion, etc. The flowers were truly disappointing for the money I spent- so much so, I actually complained, which I rarely do.
This year for Mother’s Day, I decided to give Bouqs.com a try. I found a Mother’s Day promo code and thought it was worth a try.
Bouqs.com Arrangement Options
The first thing I noticed on Bouqs.com is that the floral arrangements are very different than other flower delivery services. The arrangements are bright and have a variety of flowers (many I had never seen used in a gift arrangement). In fact, Bouqs states the arrangements are hand crafted.
The second things I noticed on the Bouqs.com is the transparency in pricing. There are no hidden fees. Yes, that is correct. No service fees! This is amazing since other floral websites add-on fees after you choose your arrangement. This includes no fee for shipping (if you create a free account). Another option that I appreciate is the vase. You can add a vase for $12 or send without. I know both recipients have a lot of vases, so I sent my flowers without a vase.
The arrangements I chose for my mom and mother-in-law were different. For my mother-in-law, I ordered the farmer’s choice mini bouqs. This was three mini bouquets, which I thought was unique. She can have three separate arrangements or combine into one vase (pictured below). Fun idea! I upgraded to the deluxe, which is 24 stems. The cost was $65.00 minus the 20% off Mother’s Day code, so the total was $52.00.
For my mom, I ordered the heartfelt arrangement, which is Iris and Tulips. My mom loves Iris, so this was an easy choice. I upgraded to the deluxe, which is 36 stems. The cost was $75.00, minus 20% off Mother’s Day code, so the total was $60.00.
My mom and mother-in-law both loved the arrangements. The flowers were fresh and unique. I could not believe how many flowers were included and how full the arrangements looked. My mother-in-law commented that it was nice to get flowers that didn’t look like funeral flowers- meaning nice to have a fresh arrangement with different flowers than the typical arrangements.
Bouqs.com Promo Codes
I found my promo code from a TV commercial. Here are a few Bouqs.com promo codes you can use for your order:

- FRESH15: 15% off for returning customer
- JUNE10: 10% off June bouq of the month

Overall, Bouqs.com offers great value and beautiful flowers. I am really glad that I tried Bouqs.com and will continue to use it in the future.
I did not receive any compensation or product in exchange for the bouqs review post above. After using Bouqs.com myself, I applied to be an affiliate because it is such a great company. The links included in the bouqs review above are affiliate links.
